Last weekend I decided (ok, not really decided, was already planned) to ditch my assignments and head away from the hustle and bustle of the city and technology. I picked Celina ( le twin) at about 6.2o am, and then we went to college. Upon arrival I spotted a bunch of guys (didn't know any of them except Zahid). I saw May too :D At least another person I know. Amir couldn't make it because he sprained both his ankles. Such a bummer. Lesson learnt, I should never run for Biology class or I might end up like him too.. (hee.. but then have to pay Rm1 =.=) I refused to let twin sleep on the bus. *sinister laughter* It's always been a curse that whoever seats beside me on road trips won't get to sleep at all. I will talk and talk and talk.
Some pictures taken on the bus.
Twin and I.

Our ugly thighs. Mine only actually. :C

Twin: Get me out of here!!

May ;p *revenge for brushing teeth picture.* lolx.

We saw an accident near the Tapah rest stop, but I was too lazy to take a picture. The front of the guys car was already on fire a bit. Stopped at Tapah to pee and eat. Then it was off to the uber winding roads. :o The bus stopped us at Cameron Valley Teahouse (or shop) whatever it was called. Went to pee one last round. Yes, I art very paranoid about pee-ing on the ground, especially for this track since its referred to as "leech heaven". *shudders*
Took some pictures of the view.

I love the clouds, but they look kind of fake.
Twin, solo version.

Yours truly :D

Upon reaching the first village...

To be honest, this is the first time I've been to any kind of village, the first time I see houses like this. Andrew, (figured out a bunch of people's names at night) handed out sweets to the kids. Then we begin our hike into the forest.
I call this the view before entering hell.

(cause no leeches yet!)
Twin all geared up with her 'magic' boots.

Sebastian.

Twin and I (clean shot)

No pictures during the rest of the trek because it was super muddy, and we had to go through a river path. AND there was so many leeches.. EEeee.. I fell 938248193 times, sprained my ankle 4 times (3 times on my left leg, 1 time on my right leg). As a result, was super whiny when I reached Pos Atap. But then again, I was kind of thankful that Ismail (one of the native tribes who brought us in) carried my bag for me during the last one hour =B )
Leech bites!

And my shoes died too. It was covered in dirt.
And this is what Pos Atap looked like. *drum rolls*
"Depressed" look
The inside of the so-called bungalow :)
I didn't go and bath at all. The orang asli said there would be leeches in the river. Plus, they laughed at us for freaking out when we found leeches on our legs. Lol. Cultural differences I guess.
Some shots from dinner (:
Sweets.
We were suppose to gamble with them, but didn't due to exhaustion.
Twin enjoying the fresh air around us.
Ms Janie! :)
Guess what this is :D
I think I slept better here then I did at Gunung Datuk. We slept around 9.30pm. The weirdest incident happened after that. I was dreaming (though at that time I did not realize that I was dreaming) that we were all leaving the camp already. Imagined I saw May packing her stuff. So I woke Celina up ( that was when I woke up already). I told her it was time to leave. And she kind of believed me until she realized that it was still dark outside. So she checked the time. It was only 3am. =.=" Thanks to the Arabian guys who were so noisy, and they were jumping some more, they woke us up. So cis. P.S: I forgot to mention that I swore so much on this trip. Go figure what the magic word was :p
My sleeping place.
Twin
stupid The guys who woke us up.
Sebastian. He is the guy who scolded those guys. *yay!* I was sleeping so I didn't hear a thing. Dang!
I finally managed to pee. Ask me how I did it :p LOL. You'd be surprise.

We begin our trek back up at about 10 I think. Surprisingly, going back up was way faster than coming back down despite the fact that it was uber slippery. I slipped don't know how many times *ignore my England please. I know its very powderful* Wilson and Andrew had to help me up a lot. Darn, I wish I had twin's boots. So darn many leeches. They all kept climbing up me. That never mind. They were aiming for my thighs! wtf. Other than that, the landscape had changed a lot from the day before due to the rain. A lot of trees fell down and I think there was semi- landslide.
Twin and I when we reached back up. :)
I felt so relieved to be near to civilization again. :D I didn't have my phone for one whole day. Digi sucks. Wilson said digi got no reception cause the yellow man (if you don't know who he is, I really don't know what to say. But erm.. maybe " I will follow you.." would ring a bell.) is too fat and lazy to trek. Thus, no network coverage for me where I was. :O eeee... I parasited twins phone.
Twin and I and orang asli.
Believe it a not, he is 90 years old, but he looks so fit. He said that he only takes 2 hours to run back up. Run back up! We took about 3hours +.
Shoes.
Celina and her sugar. (:
The view again. :D
